These low-profile
gas heaters are certified for residential and commercial use and an
excellent heating option for greenhouses, garages,
sheds, etc. Each Hot Dawg heater includes: hot surface ignition
(no pilot flames to keep lit), power exhaust system, advanced diagnostic
system for dependable worry-free operation, lots of safety features,
high power fan to provide even heat distribution, rust-resistant
aluminized steel exchanger, and a baked-on enamel finish made to protect
the HD
from harsh environments. Requires 110/120v
electricity. Designed for propane or natural gas. Mounting brackets
included.

heater.
Q: What is a Hot Dawg?
A: A low-profile gas-fired unit heater that is designed to heat garages
and is certified for residential, commercial, and industrial use.
Q: What type of fuel feeds the Hot Dawg ?
A: The Hot Dawg unit heater can operate on either natural or propane
gas. Gas type must be specified when ordering.
Q: Does the Hot Dawg vent to the outside of the garage?
A: Yes, it is supplied with a factory-installed venting system that allows
for either vertical or horizontal venting. Vent pipe must be purchased
separately.
Q: What size Hot Dawg is needed to heat my garage?
A: The answer depends on many variables such as building construction,
location, number of doors, etc. As a general guideline you can use
the following table, but you may wish to have a qualified contractor
perform a heat-loss calculation.

A: The unit utilizes either 3" or 5" vent pipe depending
upon the application.
Q: How is the Hot Dawg mounted in a garage?
A: The Hot Dawg includes angled hanging brackets designed for 3/8" bolts,
lag screws, or rods. This allows for snug-to-ceiling installation with
1" clearance, or the unit can be suspended with threaded rods.
Q: Can the unit be flipped to allow left-or-right hand
access to the controls?
A: Yes, the unit can be flipped.
Q: Can the louvers be moved?
A: Yes, the louvers are fully adjustable to direct heat where it is needed.
Q: Is the Hot Dawg covered by a warranty?
A: Yes, the residential warranty is two years on materials and workmanship
on all parts except the heat exchanger, which is ten years on materials
and workmanship.
Q: Can the Hot Dawg operate at high altitudes?
A: Yes, although a high altitude kit is required. Please specify this
